Create your ideal dining area in combination with the Janne loose table top. By combining a loose table top with a table base, you can assemble your perfect table yourself. The table top is inlaid with a herringbone pattern and has a natural oak-coloured finish. The table is made of PVC. PVC as a material for a table is very strong and low maintenance.

Material

PVC as a material for a table has many advantages. The top is constructed in three layers: the back, the printed film layer and a top layer. The back of the table top is made of pure PVC. Pure PVC ensures optimal stability, making the table top extremely strong.

The second layer is the film layer. This layer creates the appearance of the top. Table top Janne has a light oak look, making it easy to combine in a Scandinavian interior style. After the film layer, a top layer is applied over the top. The top layer ensures that the product is protected as well as possible against wear. The top layer also creates a structure, making the knots palpable on the top. This makes it indistinguishable from real wood!

Finally, the top layer also ensures that the top gets a matte finish. This means the table top does not reflect and gets a natural and calm look. The table top is easy to clean with a damp cloth. It is important not to use acids or aggressive cleaning agents. This damages the top, making it irreparable. PVC is therefore not comparable to wood, where scratches cannot be removed by sanding the top and refinishing it. The product is entirely handmade. Small imperfections in the top are therefore common and make each table unique.

Combine

Combine the Janne table top with table base Mads or Torben from our collection. Because the table top can be combined with different bases, no holes are pre-drilled in the top. The table base therefore needs to be screwed in place at the correct position.

Important: It is good to know that after screwing, the table cannot be returned. It is therefore important to check whether the table top fits into the interior before making holes in the top.
